The ATMCS conference series maintains a strong tradition of bringing together leading established researchers and young scientists in the emerging discipline of applied and computational topology, and provides an opportunity for the exchange of experience and the furthering development of new research ideas. We are excited to build on this tradition and announce some new features to this edition of the conference:
Contributed Short Talks & Research Poster Session: The Contributed sessions will now feature both short, 30-minute talks as well as research posters, favoring the work of early-career researchers, particularly PhD students.
Tools & Applications Session: A special session will be dedicated to tools and applications inspired by and developed from the results of the domain of applied and computational topology. The scope of applications will include concrete results and software demos in settings ranging from the natural sciences through to industry.
Please refer to the Call for Participation page for more information on how you can submit a contribution for either of these sessions.
The conference will begin on Monday morning, 25 July, 2016, and end on Friday at noon, 29 July, 2016. The conference is single-tracked. Morning sessions will be dedicated to invited keynote speakers; please refer to the ATMCS7 home page for a list of confirmed invited speakers. Guidelines for Short Talks and Software Demos
Please be aware that 30 minutes have been allotted per short talk, which does not include a setup gap for the next speaker. We therefore ask that in timing your allotted time slot, please plan on 25 minutes at most for your presentation and any questions.
Guidelines for Poster Presentations
Please prepare a poster of maximum size A0 in portrait (vertical) format: due to a limitation of space, landscape (horizontal) format posters may be difficult to accommodate.
